Stay fit indoors on the road

If you're on business travel and the hotel provides a gym, you're all set when it comes to getting in a bit of cardio. However, as the air gets a chill in the air, you may no longer want to head out for a run in lieu of the treadmill. Still, there are plenty of cardio activities you can try out right in your hotel room.

Jumping rope
A jump rope will hardly take up any room in your suitcase and you can easily find enough room to use it at the hotel. When you first start jumping rope, you might feel a little silly, but you'll quickly find that it gets your blood pumping. This is a great and easy workout for business people on-the-go to try.

Stairs
All hotels have stairwells and these are often empty, as they are often avoided by other patrons. As long as it isn't too loud, you can run the stairs to get in a muscle-toning cardio exercise while you're traveling for work. All you need to do is make sure that you pack a pair of tennis shoes for the trip and you're set.

Jumping jacks
Another move that can be completed in the room at your hotel is jumping jacks! Do these in sets, taking breaks in between so you can complete more. This whole-body workout is great for getting your heartbeat up.
