Mission Bay Park is the largest water park of its kind in the world. With around 4,200 acres of land and water, this park encompasses sandy beaches, shoreline and plenty of waterways from the ocean to its inlets and islets. Water sports enthusiasts love this area for kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing and kite boarding. Families enjoy the beaches for swimming, snorkeling and volleyball games. You can have a barbecue or a bonfire right next to the water after scuba diving and fishing to your heart's content. The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down! Take a moonlight cruise on the Bahia Belle, a Mississippi-style riverboat that docks on Mission Bay. There's also a roller coaster called the "Giant Dipper" for thrill ride enthusiasts!
