This team is named after Minnesota's two largest cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul. The teams no longer played in 1960 when the Washington Senators moved to Minneapolis and became the Minnesota Twins.

The Minnesota Zoo
Maybe shopping and rides aren't your thing either. If you're looking for open air and adorable animals drive to the Minnesota Zoo. Opened in 1978, this 485 acre zoo houses more than 4,300 animals. From Minnesota natives like moose, bison and monarchs to not-so-natives like tigers and Asian wild horses, there's plenty to see at the zoo!
