New York-style pizza slices and pies are what’s on the menu at Planet Pizza, along with calzones, pepperoni rolls, and garlic knots. Prices are cheap, and the food gets rave reviews from both locals and visitors.
4 Rivers Smokehouse
If you’re craving barbecue sandwiches piled high with meat, order one of 4 Rivers Smokehouse‘s signature stackers. They have names like “Texas Destroyer” and come heaped with meats like pulled pork and chopped brisket and toppings like onion rings and a special house sauce.
With five locations in Orlando, Gringos Locos serves up Mexican fare, including a double-decker taco made with queso spread on a soft tortilla that’s wrapped around a hard shell and stuffed with your choice of fillings. Burritos, nachos, and chimichangas are also on the menu, and lots of ingredients like salsas and queso are made fresh from scratch in house.
Beth’s Burger Bar
If you’re looking for a super laid-back vibe and tons of burger choices, make your way to Beth’s Burger Bar. You choose the number of patties you want, sauces like sweet chile and sriracha ranch, and toppings like pepperoni or onion rings. There’s even a peanut butter burger topped with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, A1 sauce, and peanut butter sauce. The kids’ menu has tamer options like peanut butter and jelly and grilled cheese sandwiches.
Mrs. Potato Restaurant
If you’ve never had stick-to-your-ribs Brazilian comfort food before, give it a try at Mrs. Potato Restaurant. Enjoy dishes like giant baked potatoes topped with cheese, onions, and pork sausage, and Brazilian empanadas stuffed with ground beef, cheese, or shrimp, plus desserts, like egg and coconut custard, all of which are sure to make you a fan of Brazilian eats.
Lazy Moon Pizza
If you’re really hungry for pizza, Lazy Moon is your ticket. They serve gigantic slices and 30-inch pizza pies at two locations in Orlando. Sauces are homemade, and pies are hand-tossed and made to order.
