subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG), today announced
the launch of Dollar 4Business® (D4B), an innovative corporate car rental
program helping companies get a grasp on spiraling travel costs.
This unique corporate program employs two simple savings plans to choose from,
giving businesses of any size immediate cost advantages.
The D4B Flex Rate Plan offers Dollar's lowest retail rates, plus an additional
5 percent discount on all rentals. In addition, plan participants will receive
a 3 percent rebate on all reservations made via dollar.com.
The D4B Corp Rate Plan offers low and competitive corporate rates that remain
constant during the year.
Both plans include applicable corporate account benefits based on a company's
spending commitment to Dollar.
After determining which plan best conforms to their company’s travel needs,
company representatives should complete the D4B online application on dollar.com,
and their company will be issued an electronic corporate agreement along with
a Corporate Discount (CD) number to be used on all reservations. Larger companies
will also be assigned a dedicated Dollar sales representative to assist them
with their car rental program. It’s that simple!!
Since measuring improvements and savings is so important in today’s corporate
climate, both plans have the ability to track car rental business through the
use of a company-specific CD number. In addition, a dollar.com reservations
page can be customized for any company’s use.
Once again, to keep it simple, car rental reservations under either plan can
be booked through dollar.com, a travel agent, or by calling 1-800-800-4000,
and providing a company Corporate Discount (CD) number.
