How are monthly car rental reservations made?
Reservations for monthly car rentals can be made via GDS, www.dollar.com or by calling the Reservation Department for Dollar at 800-800-4000.
Can a current rental be converted over to a monthly car rental?
Yes, if it is an approved rate and vehicle type and has been kept 62 days, then on the 62nd day we will convert to a multi month rental as long as you agree to keep the vehicle 60 more days, total lenght is 4 months to convert. Conatct us at 800-654-7788 or email to dtgmultimonth@hertz.com
What are the renter’s responsibilities for monthly car rentals?
Renters must sign an additional form, the Multi-Month RA Addendum form, at the time of rental. By signing this form, the renter agrees to:
- Provide accurate mileage from the vehicle’s odometer to the 800-654-7788 or email to dtgmultimonth@hertz.com every 30 days
- Have preventive maintenance (oil changes) done on the vehicle every 5,000 - 7,000 miles or when advsied by Multi Month.
What is the absolute limit for monthly car rentals?
Multi-month rentals can be provided for 6 months in MD & TX; 308 days in KS, MN, OH & SD; 330 days= 11 months in all other states and PR.
