Mask Policy Update

Following recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and to help protect you, we require everyone to wear masks.

Please take proper precautions and wear a face mask until you are fully vaccinated and continue to practice proper hand hygiene, cover your coughs or sneezes, stay home if you’re sick and social distance as necessary. Rent confidently knowing all our cars are thoroughly cleaned.

We have enhanced our cleaning practices:

Following CDC guidelines, our vehicles are cleaned and with our multi-point cleaning process:

                        

1. Clean vehicle at return area

2. At cleaning area, inspect interior of vehicle, tires and overall vehicle condition

3. Check wiper fluid and replenish if needed

4. Remove trash and lost/found items

5. Vacuum trunk, front seat area and rear seat area

6. Clean window interiors

7. Spray odor eliminator

8. Clean all high-touch contact areas (steering wheel, consoles, door handles, etc)

9. Wash exterior of vehicle

10. Perform quality check

11. Move vehicle to parking stall

12. Clean driver area again and perform final check

 

During this time, we recognize flexibility is more important than ever. At Dollar, you can get the right car to fit your needs without having to pay in advance. As always, Dollar allows you to pay for your rental at the time of pick-up with no cancellation fees. Should your plans change, adjusting existing reservations is easy on Dollar.com.  

We added flexibility for prepaid reservations, including waiving cancellation and change fees for travel restricted areas. Additionally, all prepaid reservations booked prior to March 13th can now be extended toward reservations used within 24 months with no fees. Customers still have the option to cancel with applicable fees.
